Logos
While I've designed logomarks for many clients over the years, the work on this page is dedicated to just one. I've been creating Western localization title treatments with Manhwa importer Netcomics for over 17 years. Notably, they were one of the very first publishers to make comics available in online format, a visionary move that has led to our collaboration on over 200 series.
Working on comics required that I become comfortable with many visual styles and tones. From sci-fi to comedy, from romance to slice-of-life, learning to design with different traditions, audiences, and concepts in mind has imparted a deep understanding of genre and a unique stylistic flexibility.
Related Projects
One thing I like to see in my work is endurance… I appreciate it when something I create remains in use for a long time. By this metric, my highest-performing project would likely be the TNT Engineering logo shown below, which has been in continual use for over 25 years. Since that time I've done logos for everything from a skateboarding videogame to a youth soccer charitable foundation.
